Maison No. 9 French Rivera Rosé

I know what you must be thinking… Post Malone made a wine; how good could it actually be? Well, I am here to tell you that he made one of the best rosés I have had this summer and you need to try it! It is easy to drink and can be enjoyed by everyone (over the age of 21), whether you’re a wine expert or not.

The concept of Maison No. 9 was inspired by Post Malone’s favorite tarot card, the 9 of Swords. This is said to represent overcoming anxiety and breaking down the traditional perceptions of the wine industry. Post Malone and some of his friends worked with award winning winemaker Alexis Cornu in the Provence Region of France to create an approachable, fun, rosé. After tasting over 50 different blends, Post’s team found the perfect, easy drinking, classic, dry Provence rosé.

The color of this wine is a gorgeous orange pink because of the Grenache Noir and Cinsault grapes in the blend. The taste was dry, light, crisp and refreshing. In addition to the high acidity, there are notes of strawberry, orange citrus and rosemary that kept me wanting to take another sip. It would pair perfectly with light seafood, salad with berries & vinaigrette, or feta served on a rosemary pita cracker topped with orange fig jam.

Before tasting this wine, I was not sure what to expect because I think that many celebrity wines are not well made. Post Malone really did his research and blew my expectations out of the water. It is approachable, fun, easy to drink, and extremely well made. This wine is most certainly breaking down barriers and unlocking the world of wines for a new generation.
